The Tranquility Ritual brings together a relaxing full-body massage with oil scented with lotus and peach and, to finish, skin care with a gentle face massage. Each part flows into the next until you lose track of time, and step by step you move from the rush of the day to a complete quiet inside.
The ritual suits a special occasion, the run-up to a big event, a reward after a demanding stretch, or simply a gift to yourself you will gladly come back to. You will find us in a calm boutique salon a few steps from Old Town Square, where your massage is given by therapists from Southeast Asia, trained at renowned schools there.

- Arrive and slow downAt reception we welcome you with a drink that changes colour in front of you. You keep your underwear on (disposable underwear is ready if you prefer it), settle on the massage table under a towel, and there is no hurry: the first minutes are simply for landing in calm.
- Full-body massage, then skin careFirst face down: back, shoulders and legs; then on your back: feet, legs, arms, chest and head. To finish, skin care with a gentle face massage; for the body, the therapist uses oil scented with lotus and peach. You set the pressure: just say, and the therapist adjusts it at once.
- Warm tea to finishLet the ritual linger over a cup of warm tea before you return to the world.

the story behind it
Origins and tradition
Calm in Thai is sa-ngop, also meaning quiet and serene or, as a verb, to grow still. The sacred lotus, bua luang, roots in mud but blooms above water, a Thai symbol of purity and enlightenment. Every October, at Rab Bua in Bang Phli near Bangkok, people throw lotus flowers towards a Buddha image carried by boat along the canal. The Tranquility Ritual is ESCAPE’s own, and the lotus returns in the scent of its oil.

What does the ritual include?
A relaxing full-body massage with oil scented with lotus and peach: face down for the back, shoulders and legs, then on your back for the feet, legs, arms, chest and head. To finish, skin care with a gentle face massage. We welcome you with a drink that changes colour in front of you, and after the ritual you get warm tea. Everything is included in the price.
How long does the ritual take?
You can book it for 60, 90 or 120 minutes. We recommend 90 or 120 minutes, so that every part of the ritual can fully unfold and nothing is rushed.
How is it different from an ordinary massage?
It is not just a massage but a complete ritual: after the full-body massage you get skin care, all in one seamless whole. Just want a massage with warm oil? Choose the Thai Oil Massage. With the Aromatherapy Massage you choose the scent of the oil yourself.
Is the Tranquility Ritual suitable for men too?
Yes, men and women enjoy the Tranquility Ritual alike. The therapist adjusts both the pressure of the massage and the skin care to what feels good to you.
Which oil do you use for the ritual?
Argan oil scented with lotus and peach. The peach comes from China, where people were already selecting it at least 7,500 years ago. The Romans called it malum persicum, the ‘Persian apple’, because it reached Europe by way of Persia, hence its Latin name, Prunus persica.
What does the facial involve?
Cleansing, face milk, an exfoliating peel and a cream, all with a gentle face massage; we use creams with goat’s milk. How long the facial lasts depends on the length of the whole ritual. If you have sensitive skin or an allergy, please tell us in advance.
Do I have to undress?
Yes, the oil goes directly on the skin. You keep your underwear on (disposable underwear is ready if you prefer it), and on the massage table we cover you with a towel, so only the part of the body the therapist is working on is ever uncovered. How much does the Tranquility Ritual cost in Prague?
At the ESCAPE salon in Prague 1, the Tranquility Ritual costs 2,190 CZK for 60 minutes, 2,690 CZK for 90 minutes and 3,190 CZK for 120 minutes. Skin care, a welcome drink and warm tea after the massage are included. You’ll find all our other massages in the price list.
How do I book the Tranquility Ritual?
The fastest way is online, where you see the available times straight away. You can also call +420 734 331 444 or message us on WhatsApp. You can come without a booking if we happen to have a free slot, but we are usually fully booked.
Is the Tranquility Ritual a good gift?
Yes, the Tranquility Ritual is one of our most popular gift vouchers for special occasions: anniversaries, birthdays or Christmas. Buy a voucher for the ritual itself, or credit of 2,000, 5,000, 10,000 or 25,000 CZK (from 5,000 CZK with 5–15% off). The PDF arrives by email right after payment. A printed voucher in an elegant gift envelope can be collected at the salon, or a courier brings it to you anywhere in the Czech Republic, usually within 2 working days, so you can hand it over in person. Valid for 12 months.
How can I pay?
Online when you book (card, Apple Pay, Google Pay), or later at the salon by card or in cash (CZK or EUR). You can also pay with a gift voucher. Cash is 4% cheaper: the card fee we save goes to you.
Can I cancel my booking?
Yes, cancelling or changing your booking is free up to 24 hours ahead. Just call +420 734 331 444, message us on WhatsApp or email info@escapemassage.cz. We charge no fee for later cancellations; we only ask you to let us know in time.
