A couples massage is simply the best of relaxation — shared. Two people lie side by side in the same room while two therapists work at the same time, so you enjoy the whole experience together rather than apart. It's a lovely idea for a date, an anniversary, a honeymoon, or just to treat someone you care about.
In short: two people, one calm room, two therapists at once — and each of you picks your own massage. The price for two is 3,490 / 4,190 / 4,890 CZK for 60 / 90 / 120 minutes. There's only one couples room, so book ahead.
What a couples massage is
A couples massage is a massage for two people at the same time and in the same room. It isn't one massage split between two — it's two separate massages happening side by side: you have two tables set next to each other and two therapists working simultaneously. The two of you move through the whole experience together — you can see and hear each other, and you finish rested at the very same moment.
Couples enjoy it most often, but it works just as well for a mother and daughter, two friends, or colleagues after a demanding stretch. If you're still figuring out which treatment suits you, our guide to choosing a massage can help.
Each of you picks your own massage
The loveliest part of a couples massage is that you don't have to choose the same thing. Each of you picks your own type of massage and your own pressure — one can go deep while the other keeps it gentle and soothing. The therapists tailor everything to each person individually.
- Traditional Thai — no oil, over comfortable clothing, with stretches and acupressure. More on traditional Thai massage.
- Thai oil — warm, flowing strokes to release the whole body. More.
- Aromatherapy — with essential oils of your choice, the gentlest and most calming. More.
- Back, neck & shoulders — targeted relief, ideal after days at a desk. More.
So one of you can have a deep sports massage and the other a fragrant aromatherapy — and you'll both finish at the same time.
What to expect, step by step
You don't need to arrange anything in advance — just come. Still, it helps to know what's ahead:
- Welcome and tea: you arrive together, settle in calmly, and we confirm your choice of massage, the pressure, and any tender spots.
- Getting ready: you'll change in private; for traditional Thai we lend you loose, comfortable clothing, and for oil massages you're covered with towels, with only the area being worked on ever uncovered.
- Side by side: you lie down on two tables next to each other and both therapists begin at the same time in one softly lit, gently scented room.
- Winding down: there's no rush afterwards — we let you come round slowly and bring you a herbal welcome tea.

Gentle for a first massage — and for the less experienced partner
If one of you has never had a massage or feels a little shy, a couples massage is actually the kindest way to begin — you're not doing it alone. Your partner is right beside you, and the whole atmosphere is calm and unhurried.
Don't hesitate to tell your therapist what feels good: we can add or ease the pressure at any point, and you don't have to talk if you'd rather not. For a very first massage we suggest a gentler option — Thai oil or aromatherapy — and a shorter, sixty-minute session is perfectly fine. Learn more about what Thai massage is and its effects.
Occasions a couples massage suits
Shared calm has a quiet magic to it — which is why a couples massage is so loved for special milestones and for ordinary days you simply want to make nicer:
- A different kind of date — shared, undisturbed time instead of dinner and a film.
- Anniversaries and Valentine's — an experience rather than an object.
- Honeymoons or pre-wedding calm for the bride and groom.
- A thank-you to your mum, sister or friend — bring them along.
- A reset after a hard stretch, one you both get to enjoy at once.
You'll find ESCAPE in the centre of Prague, on Elišky Krásnohorské a short walk from Old Town Square, open daily 10:00–22:00 — easy to fit in even after work.
A wonderful gift: a couples massage voucher
A couples massage is one of the loveliest gifts there is — you're giving shared time, not another object. You can give a gift voucher for a specific couples massage, or for an amount the recipients spend as they like. A voucher works beautifully for Christmas, birthdays, or just because.
